A series of photographs accompanies a travelogue of a 1995 trip through Alaska, depicting the region's specific climate and harsh weather, the vastness of its nature, and the special events that occurred during the journey. According to Rails Magazine, Alaska means confronting cold, magnificent nature, and largely untouched
landscapes, which can be reached primarily by a small propeller plane.
The Algemeen Dagblad report is illustrated with photorealistic images, and the composition of the photos within the collage makes the chronological sequence transparent.
Additionally, colour intensification in the post-processing of the images emphasises dynamism, intensity, and the importance of the coastguard's work.
