Experimenting with the pixel in digital photography is not new, but it is still an underrated and exciting recent development in the world of photography. This photo series combines two powerful themes: a fashion shoot by Vivienne Westwood and a still life of a dried bouquet. Each image is presented in a different exposure and color, digitally enhanced.
The fashion image demonstrates the fluidity of style and identity through its variations, while the still portrait of the wilted bouquet addresses the themes of transience and memory.
Together, these works spark an intriguing dialogue between movement and stillness, life and decay, encouraging us to reconsider the intricacies of perception and time through the lens of photography.
